Excerpt
A SEASON FOR MYSELF
A fire burns above the house
Ashes feed the earth our eyes
We expel the day we now live in
In the margin of history
Nothing has ever happened to me
We are pledged to renew the path
Without it we are circular time
Once in a rare while like a pearl
In its shell, a long dream opens up
Once in a rare while at the edge of the forest
We fall speechless like an open book
